Do You Remember?

Being a little kid and spotting *the* perfect hill?

Oh, you know the one........just right for rolling down,

Running towards it, hair blowing in the wind........anticipation making those tiny legs pump just a little bit faster.........

And then........and then............
flying downwards.........ponytail streaming behind you...........

the rush of wind on your back, .......momentum flinging you down that hill......

Wondering if you've ever gone this fast........spinning and flying..........tumbling.....

laughing with pure undisguised glee......butterflies in your tummy........

joy in motion.........

exhaling at the end......believing this may have been your fastest time EVER!

giggling and catching your breath.........before dashing back up again to do it all over again. And again..........
Do you remember that? Gosh, I do too.

Oh man, these are awesome! I can almost hear the giggles coming out of the screen! Not only do I remember doing this myself, I'm not inspired to go do this *right* now! FUN!!!

Tyler looks so grown up in that first picture. They looked like they were having a blast rolling down that hill! The look on their faces say it all! Lexie just figured out how to roll around the living room carpet and she thinks it's funny when she rolls into a piece of furniture. I think she would love that downward momentum of rolling down a hill!

Oh, what a sweet post Lisa. You really captured and froze that moment that, I think, we all can remember. Total abandonment at it's best!

You brought it back so vividly. Love the joy we always see on your sweetie's faces.

Have fun the rest of the week, my friend!

When I was 4, I broke my arm in 3 places racing my cousin down a big, grassy hill!!! It's one of our family's favorite stories to tell, and I am glad your rolling down a hill experience was better than mine. T looks like Elvis in that first picture, and I LOVE IT!!!! Your kids are always so smiley and happy!!! It is a testament to good parenting I think! XOXO

Oh yeah! Those are the moments we all remember and because of your catching them on camera even Tyler will "remember" doing it. Now I have to go find a hill for Lexie!

Your kids look so blissful:)

We taught min man how to roll down a hill this summer. He didn't quite get that all he has to do is let gravity take him. oh well. there's always next summer.
