Black & White Wednesday

It's time once again to play along with Lisa's Black & White Wednesday!

As this is my third week to participate and the previous weeks have been split equally between both kiddos, I thought it only appropriate to make this week's theme: My 2 Angels......

Tyler of course is too little to pay any attention to my blogging, but Lauren does peek from time to time and requested photos of both herself and Tyler together for this week's contribution. Of course I was more than tickled to oblige!

AND this might be a new record for me.......2 blog posts in just about 2 days!! LOL I hate to bump our New Year's celebration down the way(and thanks so much for all the sweet wishes and comments!) but am just enjoying this nostalgic peek back so much.

The photos below are not new, but the treatments are different & fresh. The middle shot I have not shared on the blog before and is the oldest of the 3.....taken last February shortly after bringing Tyler home.

I can't wait to see all the rest of gorgeous shots and would LOVE to see lots of bloggy buddies play along too!

I have always called this last one.........."Embrace"
Happy Wednesday everyone!!

Oh, have I told you that we're waiting for a baby girl from Taiwan??? We're pre-approved with TWCA and adopting through Gladney. We were praying it would be this year but it looks like it won't be. Trusting God to surprise us!!!

Lisa....I'm wild about these pictures. Especially the way you treated the first and last. You HAVE to frame these up - they are truly wonderful.

Gooooorgggeous!!!

I especially love the first photo. The light coloring with the faded frame makes it look so angelic.

It doesn't hurt that your "angels" are truly that either ;)

Oh Lisa... these are just beautiful!!!

I love them all, but the expression on Lauren's face in the last one almost brought me to tears. You can just see the love for her little brother radiating from her.

Sweetness... absolute sweetness.

(I'm not playing this week since it's a "BIG" anniversary for us and I've dedicate my post to that... but I can't wait to see what the others have done as well!)

I love these photos of your beautiful children! They are so sweet. Look at how much they love each other.

Thanks for the post with the link. Anna has been wanting me to get some matching clothes for her and her sister. The t-shirts are perfect! She also wants some matching clothes for her American Doll, but I think it would be less expensive to buy clothes for the baby, LOL!

They're all adorable but I really love the white fade on the top one. So soft and pretty! I need to pull out my photoshop book and figure out how to do that!

My Gosh these are just so beautiful! I love the fact that your daughter wanted both herself and Tyler on the post...Those are the days you can smile and say "I am doing a good job.

Thank you so much for your comment the other day...It so nice of you.

Also, I wanted to let you know...We did it! We celebrated both birthdays in ways that made everyone smile...and cry a little...mostly when my older brother said "Happy Birthday Dad"...see I'm getting chocked up again.

But it was a good day and I got all on camera.

Love your blog and really love these adorable photo's!
Your children are beautiful.

Is that a Maltese you have?? I have two of them.

Natalie said...

Thanks for visiting! My Maltese are ages 8 & 9. My 9 year old who is overweight suddenly went blind. It is so hard watching him everyday struggling and being almost bullied by the other dog and our cat. I love him so. He used to sleep with me every night but he doesn't know how far the ground is any longer. I am so fearful he'll break a leg.
Well, thanks for letting me ramble...
Hugs to you,
Natalie

Hi Lisa! I feel so guilty about not keeping up with my blogging buddies. I have just been perusing your recent blog posts. What a beautiful blog. Your pictures and sentiments are so lovely and heartfelt. I sure remember when you went to Taiwan to pick up Tyler. Such a big guy now. How great to have such a big New Year celebration to go too. We do have a small one here in Helena and we have one at home, but it looks like so much fun to go to a major event. We will have to travel to a bigger city some time to participate. Anyway, beautiful family. Happy mama! Sarah = )

I am so far behind too don't feel bad...Can you be behind on blogging??? I do know there is so much I want to post about and so many blog places I want to visit but just don't seem to get too...Maybe if we skip sleeping we could get all the fun stuff done.
